A beautiful, gem, ruby-red spinel octahedron from famed Mogok. This textbook crystal has classic pigeons blood-red color and super-high glassy luster. Much of the crystal is water-clear, with a few interior veils. Complete all-around pristine. The crystal has light alluvial (river) rounding. Very fine richly colored gem spinel. This is a good sized high quality spinel for the locale. 12.73 carats mass. Valued at $900-1000. old material now
