Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY species are RARE from this old and extinct district, where gold was discovered in 1860. This is an outstanding and possibly unique large sharp calcite scalenohedron. The lustrous and translucent crystal has a very light pink tint and shimmering frosted faces. A fascinating accessory is the small second generation gemmy sceptered rhomb attached to the tip, half of which, is included with sulfides! Complete all-around. Modest pink fluorescence. A MUST for the New Mexico or species collector!
