Gorgeous, sparkly, translucent, juicy rich apple-green wavellite botryoids are aesthetically set in the vug on the sculptural shale matrix on this very fine example from Avant. The contacted and broken faces of the botryoids reveal the dramatic banded radial growth of the acicular crystals, adding pizzazz and artistic form. This is a way above average vibrant green color with large botryoids for the locale. Specimens of this color and quality should sell for $750-1000.
