Wulfenite (Bruce Murphy Coll.)

Item Description

A very fine older Red Cloud Mine wulfenite thumbnail. The extremely glassy, gemmy to translucent crystal has rich reddish-orange color. The attached side car crystals in the center of the crystal (they look like a contact, but are not!) and the sharp textbook chisel terminations add real pizzazz to this classic two-sided beauty. Nearly pristine, with only a lightly contacted edge with trivial bruising noted near the base of the piece. Classic and excellent older wulfenite, probably dating to the 1960s to 80s.
