Item Description

An outstanding two-sided mounded combination piece from the famous Denton Mine. An aesthetically intergrown cluster of lustrous, transparent to translucent, color-zoned fluorite cubes, to 3.2 cm, have striking edge phantoms and frosted and stepped-growth faces. Two splendent metallic galena cubes are very nicely set on the piece (one near the center and one on an end). The larger cube, at 2.0 cm, has iridescent faces, that really add pizzazz to this fine combination example. Nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear to the large cube, which is certainly only a modest detraction. From the Ross Lillie Collection # 1880 and collected in 1987.
