Sharp lustrous rich olive-green pyromorphite prisms, to 1.0 cm, are aesthetically festooned on the upright sculptural miniature matrix on this outstanding specimen from this long extinct mine in the famous Phoenixville District. Many crystals have hoppered terminations, adding much pizzazz to this classic. Mining started in 1852 and ceased in about 1865 (MINDAT), making this a real old-timer.
