Item Description

A showy and aesthetic specimen from this classic Euorpean locale of intergrown almandine garnets in schist matrix. The sharp and lustrous dodecahedrons, to 4.7 cm, are dark wine-red with beautiful areas of dark cherry-red translucence. A fine multi-sided example.
