Item Description

Gemmy bi-colored tabular hexagonal fluorapatite crystals, to 1.5 cm, are aesthetically clustered on the sculptural upright flattened tan siderite rhomb matrix. The lustrous, glassy apatites have greenish interiors with gem, silvery-gray pinacoid edges. A very fine and nearly pristine 360-degree combination, with only a modest bit of bruising to some the apatite crystal edges, which is certainly only a minimal detraction. Interestingly, only the silvery-gray edges fluoresce a moderate ghostly white. Classic and excellent combination material from the Art Soregaroli Collection, with even the mine level known. Difficult to photograph, the apatites have less of a blue tint, that the photos show.
