The A and B faces are blue and blue-violet and the C face shows flashes of red. 12.42 carats mass. High retail value of top-quality tanzanites is now said to be around $2000/carat at Tucson. Very fine quality valued by the former dealer at $2000 ($161/carat retail). This crystal is a very good deal for the size and quality.
