Description:Opal is known from hundreds of localities in all colors of the rainbow. Around 2006 I obtained some attractive yellow precious/Jelly Opal from Tanzania, and this stone is one of the last remaining pieces from that parcel. This stone has a light yellow color and is what I would call a Jelly Opal. The stone has a typical translucent appearance which is seen in a great percentage of these gems. The cut on the stone is a "Trillion Brilliant" cut. This seems to have been a limited find, as I have not seen any other dealers offering either the rough or gems for sale on the market. Enjoy.
