Description:An attractive Chrysoberyl "cat's eye" gem stone with a beautiful golden-yellow color and a "milky-blue" color "eye" that shows up when it is lit with a penlight. The "eye" in the stone has a great "milk" appearance, creating that highly sought after "milk and honey" effect that is often seen in these gems. This stone is one of the more attractive "cat's eyes" that I've offered in the auctions in this size for a while. I want to point out that this stone is bright and does not look "dirty" like so many others can be. This material can command a high retail price of $250 per carat in some instances.
