Description:Danburite is one of those gems that isn't often seen in today's market. It is a hard and durable stone which makes it great for jewelry. It is not an extremely rare gem, but it is not often seen in larger stones either. This particular gem is a good sized, bright, very very slightly included, light yellow color "Oval" cut stone. This material is somewhat hard to find on today's market, especially stones with a yellow hue like this one. These gems are not common from Madagascar, and they're a nice change of pace from the colorless Mexican stones.
