Description:Emerald is classified as a type-3 gemstone which means that inclusions in the stones are acceptable in the trade for collectors and dealers. Often the stones from Bahia, Brazil can be very good sized, but the quality is rarely world-class. This stone has a beautiful rich emerald-green color, but is only translucent at best for clarity. Keep in mind that Emeralds cannot be held to the same clarity standard that most stones are held to. The stone is not a small gem by any means, and has a traditional "Step Round" cut.
