Description:Prehnite has always been a popular gem among collectors because of its lovely green color. Recently the new Prehnite discovery in Mali has produced some great cabbing and carving material. This material, when carved or cabbed, has a very unique and attractive "soft" almost "velvety" appearance. This half-faceted "Round" cut gem has some inclusions, which is par for the course when it comes to these stones This is a decent size stone for the material, and considering it is relatively new, it's a great gem to fill a spot in your collection.
