Description:Beryl is a favorite among collectors and dealers because of the broad spectrum of colors and the ability to obtain large clean gems. Aquamarine is one of the most popular varieties of Beryl on the market today. This gem is from the Mozambique gem fields and features a beautiful rich Aqua blue color with very very slight inclusions and a beautiful "Quantum Emerald" cut. This stone has what is some of the best blue color I've seen for an Aqua from this locality. One would be hard pressed to find other stones with the same saturation of color in this size. Gem quality Aquamarines are becoming more and more difficult to find, and the price seems to be rising throughout the gem trade. Retail value on this gem is $534.
