Description:Here we have a beautiful rich blue Turquoise gem with an "Oval Cabochon" cut set into a bezel set ring with a wide Sterling Silver skirt and distinctive southwestern patterning. Arizona is known for its fine Turquoise and this stone is superb for its color and absence of cracks or breaks. We believe the stone to be an older gem from the world famous Sleeping Beauty Mine near Globe, Arizona, as we have seen similar gems from over 30 years ago with the same color from this mine. This ring is completely hand-made, with a unique appearance and beautiful simplicity in its design. It doesn't get much more traditional than this with a classic Turquoise / Sterling Silver combination that is found throughout the American southwest. The high end retail value on this piece is $350, and would make a great gift for somebody who appreciates this kind of jewelry.
