Description:Emerald is classified as a type-3 gemstone which means that inclusions in the stones are acceptable in the trade for collectors and dealers. Often the stones from Bahia, Brazil can be very good sized, but the quality is rarely world-class. This stone has a bright emerald-green color, but and is fairly gemmy for the material. Keep in mind that Emeralds cannot be held to the same clarity standard that most stones are held to. The stone is not a small gem by any means either. It has a traditional "Oval" cut.
