Description:This is a lively Chrysoberyl "cat's eye" gem stone that has a beautiful green-yellow color with a soft "milky-blue" color "eye" when it is lit up with a penlight. The "eye" in the stone has a great "milk" appearance, creating that highly sought after "milk and honey" effect that is often seen in these gems. There is also a slight yellow-green flash on the perimeter of the stone as well. This stone is one of better and more attractive "cat's eyes" that I've offered in the auctions in this size for a while. I want to point out that this stone is bright and does not look "dirty" like so many others can be. This material can command a retail price of $250 per carat in some instances.
