Description:In the gem world, Garnet comes in every color of the rainbow, but good faceted Garnets from the United States are not terribly common. This stone is about 25 years old and is from one of the best localities for Rhodolite Garnet in North America. It is an impressive, strong pink color, very very slightly included gem with an "Cut Corner Rectangle" cut. Good Rhodolites from Montana are not very easy to obtain anymore so don't pass this one up. Certainly a collector quality gem as it is well over 1 carat in weight.
