Description:Spinel is another gem that comes in a great range of colors. Most people are familiar with the Ruby Spinels, but a large percentage of Spinels out there are not red. This is a beautiful blue Spinel stone. It is an attractive gem with a rich deep blue color which is more rare in Spinel than pink or yellow. The gem has a "Round Brilliant" cut. The stone needs a strong light for the blue color to shine through, but it's there. The high retail price on this gem is $566, and was cut by Brett Kosnar in June 2010.
