Description:This neon blue Apatite really only comes from two places in the world. The Bahia area of Brazil produces a very intense deep blue color of Apatite, but stones are often very small. The Madagascar material is probably best known around the world for its intense ocean blue color and has made a comeback in the gem world as I've seen it on some of the home shopping jewelry channels lately. This particular stone has some of the strongest and most intense color that I have seen for the material. It resembles the color of a top Brazilian Paraiba blue Tourmaline. It is very very very slightly included with a "Round" cut.
