Description:Chrysoprase is a Nickel-bearing variety of Chalcedony, and the best pieces in the world come from Australia. This stone is a very attractive, rich blue-green, translucent, "Round" cut gem with excellent consistency of color. The very best of this material is highly prized by collectors, and this gem is great quality for Chrysoprase, as they are rarely this gemmy or vivid. I'm sure there are plenty of gem collectors who do not have a fine quality Chrysoprase in their collections, so be sure to pick this one up.
