Description:This is one of the few gems of Aegirine that I have had to offer from Norway. Obviously this species is always opaque, but I have to believe that there are many "black gem" collectors out there who do not have a facetted Aegirine in their collections. This stone is very good quality compared to other Aegirine gems I''ve seen from Malawi which can show cracks or crazing on the surface. You don''t see these Norwegian gems on the market, and stones will always be slender due to the nature of the crystals. A great black gem to add to your collection. The cut on the stone is an "Octagon" cut.
