Description:Sri Lanka probably produces more colors of Chrysoberyl than any other country I''ve seen. The rough material is often found as stream pebbles, but the amazing color and clarity from these stream beds makes for some awesome gems. Chrysoberyl is also one of the most durable stones out there, so the wide range of colors only adds to the versatility of this material. This stone is a very handsome green-yellow gem which is virtually eye clean, and has a standard "Step Marquise" cut. A lovely stone and very good size for this material. Valued at $94.80 retail.
