Description:Here is something that truly isn''t as common as one might think. Tourmalines come in virtually every color and have some of the most vivid and rich pinks, greens and blues of any gems out there. Cat''s Eye stones are created by orienting the stone perpendicular to the tiny fibrous inclusions inside which in turn reflect the light causing an "eye" to appear. Now I''ve seen bicolor Tourmalines, and plenty of Cat''s Eye Tourmalines, but one of the rarest things I''ve seen in Tourmalines is a true bicolor Cat''s Eye stone ! This gem is a green and pink color "Pear Cabochon" gem with a visible, "eye" running the length of the stone. PLEASE NOTE: The "eye" shows up very well when a strong pen light is shone directly at the stone. I do though apologize as it was difficult to get the "eye" to show up well in the photos. A very rare, attractive, colorful and unique collector''s stone.
