Description:Coral along with such things as Bone, Pearl and Amber is one of the few organic gems in the world. These stones are cut and polished to bring out their rich color as they often have a very dull matte luster when they are found. This "Oval Cabochon" cut gem is a rich orange-red and white color stone with excellent color consistency and thickness. Please note that this stone has most likely been stabilized to help keep its color. This is a common and completely accepted practice in the gem world. A beautiful stone for any collector.
