Description:Moonstone is a varietal name given to the tranlucent Feldspar Labradorite. This particular stone exhibits all the qualities of a fine Moonstone. This "Round" cut stone is a fantastic carved "face" which when viewed through transmitted light, is very gemmy, and when it is viewed by reflected light, exhibits a superb blue-green "sheen". This is very characteristic of Moonstone and highly desirable among collectors.
