Description:This is one of the lesser known localities for fine quality Peridot in the world. Some of the world''s finest Peridot gem sections are found in the Almklovdalen region of Norway, and they are truly some of the best color and HIGHLY sought after Peridot gems extant. It is such historic material, that few people ever see good specimens or gemstones except in old museum collections. This particular gem is a nice green color (with a very slight but distinctive blue overtone), virtually eye clean "Pear" cut stone of this amazing historic material. For the overall size and saturation of color, this is not just an ordinary Peridot like those from Arizona, this is a truly historic and significant gem. Valued at $99 retail.
