Description:Imperial Jasper is the name given to the banded red green and orange Jasper from Mexico. The material is beautiful when it is polished. This "Pear Cabochon" cut gem has lovely orange, cream and brown-gold color banding creating a pattern resembling a slice of petrified wood. I have not seen many of these stones on the market over the years, but collectors know that this is some of the nicest banded Jasper from North America.
