Description:This rare association, now classic, came out of only a small pocket area in the early to mid 1960s, I am told. I have seen just a very few such specimens turn up again over the years. This would be one of the larger such pieces. Crystals here reach 1.4 cm in size, which is impressive for the find AND the locale as well. The piece shows as a beautiful cabinet display specimen, with the green and butterscotch colors contrasting uniquely.Rarely will you find such a piece for sale, and in any case it SHOULD be valued at something like $4000 for the rarity but I got it in, by luck, in an old collection and am thus able to do somewhat better here at auction. NOTE - an old saw cut was made on the bottom as it sets horizontally in the last photo, to make it easier to display in that way. But it can show vertically or horizontally as you'd wish.
