Description:This is one of the better CABINET kyanite specimens to come out of Minas Gerais, Brazil and through our hands. The reason the two main crystal groups , 4 inches long, are TERMINATED! There are many other terminated crystals on the cluster and it stands freely in the right orientation for display. Usually the crystals are simply etched out or broken off. Large, terminated crystals like this are uncommonly seen despite huge quantities mined. Smaller crystals on this specimen are transparent and show the blue-line in the centers, indicative of the best material from this locality. Overall, impressive and an unusual example of high quality for a common species Valued highly!
