Description:A showy specimen of classic, translucent, greenish-blue, barite prisms with chisel terminations from the famous Sterling Mine of Colorado. Barite has been known from this classic Colorado locale since the 1870s and this specimen probably dates from the 1970s to mid-1980s collecting efforts.
