Description:An outstanding example of calcite from this startling new find from the famous Roncari Quarry of Connecticut. A 5.3 cm doubly terminated, translucent and lustrous crystal is exquisitely perched on a plate of sparkly quartz crystals. The doubly terminated crystal is nearly pristine, with only super-trivial edgewear on the upper termination and very slight cleaving on the lower termination. This is a superb calcite for the locale.
