Description:A gorgeous, gem amethyst crystal with intense purple color and striking, stepped-growth faces from classic deposits in Siberia. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, a bit of barely noticeable termination wear is certainly not a detraction. Very rare and seldom on the market. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection and purchased from the Fersman Museum at the Denver Show in 1993.
