Description:Lustrous, translucent, rose-red, rhodochrosite rhombs fill a large vug in lustrous, crystallized, sphalerite matrix on this showy and excellent combination specimen from recent Chinese finds. This is an impressive, highly representative larger example from this locale. A Sweet Home rhodo of the size would be expensive. The quality of Chinese rhodochrosite from the Wudong Mine keeps getting better and better. Valued at $400.
