- Size Description:LARGE CABINET
Description:A classic, old-time and very showy LARGE CABINET specimen from the famous Oppu Mine of Japan. Bubbly, botryoidal, pastel-pink, rhodochrosite covers both sides of the sculptural matrix plate. Brassy pyrite crystals are a nice accent. One side is essentially pristine (uncommon for such a large piece) and scattered bruising is noted on the "B" side, but has minimal impact on this very fine old-timer. Excellent, large material from this historic locality. Seldom on the market in this size and quality.
