Description:First class smoky quartz crystals of this quality from the Shigar Valley are an uncommon and highly valued commodity. This sharp, water-clear, gem-like, glass crystal has excellent smoky color and interestingly, three adjacent crystal faces are preferentially frosted. The lightly flattened, complete all-around crystal has only trivial, barely noticeable, termination edgewear and modest contacting at the base. Ex Joan Massague Collection and purchased from Herb Obodda in 2004 for $200.
