Item Description

Forest green bayldonite botryoids aesthetically cover the quartz matrix plate on this showy and rich specimen from this historic old lead mine. Cerussite sections, to 5 mm, are a RARE accent. Less well-known Brandy Gill was worked for lead in the 1700s and later in the 1800s. This rare specimen was recovered from specimen mining in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Formerly in the Scott Williams Collectin and with Lindsay Greenbank, according to Bob's label.
