Item Description

Carocolite is a very rare Na-Pb chloro sulfate, a member of the Apatite Supergroup and this obscure mine is the Type Locality. Specimens from here are EXTREMELY RARE on the market, as most specimens come from other mines in Chile. Transparent, glassy, pseudo-hexagonal trillings and crystal sections richly cover all sides of the vuggy small cabinet matrix of this VERY RICH, RARE example of this exotic species from the Type Locality. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
