Item Description

Some of the finest examples of kongbergite, a rare variety of silver with about 5 percent mercury, come from the ancient silver mines in this area. A 8 mm flattened spinel-twinned leaf is aesthetically set on the sculptural jasperoid matrix and is nicely accently with smaller leaves. A showy, excellent and highly representative example from this classic locale. Ex Raul Sanabria Collection.
