Item Description

Yecoraite is an ultra-rare complex hydrated tellurate from this obscure Mexican quartz vein deposit Type Locality and approved in 1983. Specimens of any species from here are RARE and are seldom on the market. Grains of yellow yecoraite are scattered among the silver metallic tetradymite grains that cover the bottom of the 2.6 cm magnifier box. Tetradymite is a rare Bi-Te sulfosalt. An extremely rich and rare example of these rare tellurium minerals from the Josef Vajdak Collection, a noted rarities collector.
