Dramatic and superlative large 360-degree fluorite from a small 2016 find at a very obscure locality in Zhejiang Province, China. The striking mounded specimen is composed of gorgeous, gemmy rich emerald-green fluorite octahedrons to about 3.9 cm, on edge. The octos are dramatically and preferentially coated with secondary overgrowths of rich coats and worm-like clusters of purplish-gray, frosted, stepped-growth fluorite cuboctahedrons and cubes. Two clusters of purple fluorites atop the purplish-gray fluorite are a super and uncommon accent. This is a striking colorful, impressive, rich and sculptural large combination fluorite from the find. The octos remind me of outstanding emerald-green fluorites from Riemasvaak, South Africa. The emerald-green hue is even richer on this amazing piece. They octos GLOW, when backlit. Rich purple fluorescence. Superb quality fluorite from the find.
