Azurite rosette (large - 2000s finds)

Item Description

A RARE large radial rosette of royal-blue azurite blades from the early 2000s finds at this renowned locale. Ore production ceased in 1996 and a specimen recovery project was initiated in the old Upper Oxidized levels of the mine robbing old pillars and following vein extensions. Limited success caused the operation to close after a couple of years. This is an exceptionally large and excellent example from the finds. Value??? A MUST for the Tsumeb or species collector!
