Item Description

Striking, terminated, variably-sized tapered cogwheel blades of bright metallic-gray, well-striated bournonite crystals form a scuptural and impressive small cabinet specimen from this famous mine. The bit of iridescence adds color and character. The primary terminations and blades have only very trivial bruising for the size and exposure of this large crystal. The piece is actually partially doubly terminated, with the lower end being mostly sharply contacted with bit of bruising. A contact/ attachment face on the back side is out-of-sight in the many possible primary views. Choice and excellent Yaogangxian Mine bournonite! Valued $2500-3500 - and it might cost you more in china these days, to be honest. they value them highly there!
