Smoky Quartz (natural)

Item Description

A mass of intergrown, uniformly arranged, lustrous and translucent, smoky quartz crystals, to 1.7 cm in length, totally cover one side of this specimen. In normal light the crystals appear to be very dark but when backlit the crystals exhibit a a light smoky to citrine color.Minor contact near the periphera is present but does not diminish the quality of the specimen. This is a natural dark smoky quartz from Brazil, which is very rare! ex Paulo Matioli collection
