A superb, glowing, gem, 1.3 cm, windowpane wulfenite crystal with stunning rich orange-red color is beautifully set upright in the sculptural vug lined with scintillating, same-color vanadinite microcrystals and flat-lying wulfenites. This fabulous crystal has striking razor-sharp chisel edges. The piece is from the Pure Potential MIne, nearby to the Red Cloud Mine and produces wulfenites comparable to that famed mine. This is an outstanding and important locality combination piece with an exceptional wulfenite crystal. Ex Bruce Murphy Arizona Collection and acquired from George Godas in 2007. Valued at $1250-1500.
