Item Description

A striking and classic large bi-colored gem fluorite from Naica. Fantastic stepped-growth form to the amazingly limpid, very glassy, highly lustrous colorless cubes with pretty light mint-green interiors forms a surreal large specimen. The jagged edges look like sawteeth and the piece looks great from either side. Cubes are relatively uncommon from the Gilbraltar, as most fluorites are cuboctohedrons from here. Essentially pristine, except for modest periphery wear along one edge. The extreme glassiness and gemminess made photography difficult. Purple fluorescence. Valued at $1750-2000 for high quality, size and uncommon style.
