Jagged steep terminations and stepped-growth faces highlight this lustrous, translucent lemon-yellow sulfur crystal from this famous quarry, noted for outstanding sharp gray-blue celestine crystals. I collected here as a teenager in the 1980s and I can tell you, it is tough rock. A broken termination noted on the right side is certainly only a minimal detraction. Sulfur is rare from here in quality, and this is a good and a large crystal for the locale. Valued by the former dealer at $200.
