Calcite (twin)

Item Description

I've seen a few specimens of Calcite from this locality, but never a "fishtail" twin like this, they're typically more stout scalenohedrons. The piece is a lovely thumbnail featuring thin, prismatic, scalenohedral "twin" with a slight yellow color. A great piece for a thumbnail collector, a Calcite collector, a twin enthusiast, or even a collector of Wyoming minerals.
