Turgite is actually defined as a mixture of Goethite and Hematite, and is not a valid mineral species. In addition to its fine Rutiles, Graves Mountain is known for these Turgites due to their unique appearance and coloration. Sometimes they are iridescent, and this one has a FULL rainbow of colors! that is often seen only in good quality Turgites. A near LARGE cabinet display specimen with beautiful Turgite on white Quartz matrix. Don't miss out.
